Hi -

I did search for this but only found one thread from 2010. If there isn't any fix since then please excuse me...

I've just started using X2 (I've been a Sonar user for years though). I created a template based on the 16 Track Audio S-Type, mainly just adding my I/O routing, icons, names, groups, etc. And I created 2 new screensets with my names in slots 8 and 9. I saved the template.

When I create a new project based on the template the screenshots are missing. The names do not show up at all in the screenshot drop down, nor are the settings there in slots 8 & 9.

Is there something else that needs to be done or set in order to save a screenshot with a template?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Never mind... I tried it again, starting from scratch, and it worked this time. I must have had something going wrong somewhere.

I have just had the same issue....set up a template with tracks, busses, routing, and 4 screensets. on opening the template it's all there except the screensets. Does anyone know if there's a commonly committed error thats causing this?

Hi:)
I've tried it with a Template without tracks and with tracks! Without any Tracks the saved or imported Screensets doesn't work! As soon as you insert 1 Audio or Midi Track, the names of the screensets are displayed.

Greetings,
Baseman.

In order for changes to screensets to "stick", you have to unlock, lock & save.

Could this be an issue here perhaps?

Hey, Bristol_Jonsey, thank you for the input. Can you explain what you mean by locking and unlocking?

Ok...figured out the "lock/unlock" issue but they still just save to the project and not the template.
