Hi-

I'm imaging my system disk now since it was time I do it anyway, then I'll go ahead and install DirectX/Timeworks. I do like the GlissEQ demo a lot, but if I already own something that will yield the same results I'll go with that.

@ru: Yes, I have Har-Bal and I use and like it for final mixes, but I'm looking for an EQ/Analyzer to insert in a strip right now.

Thanks again, all-

-Susan

...The most intuitive and versitile plug-in static EQ. Has what you need, and sounds fantastic.

Ok, I have Timeworks installed again (thanks for that link, Phrauge -- I should've looked there first, since I needed to run that regardless).

I know more than I did then, but I remember what I didn't like about it as well. In Graphics Mode especially, the GUI seems very dark and the font size is so small (esp. on the Frequency axis) that it's nearly unreadable. Granted my eyes aren't the greatest, but still! It seems easy to use, though, so I'll experiment some more.

Thanks-

P.S. GlissEQ still seems excellent, but there's no way I can rationalize spending much on an EQ when I already have so many choices. I'm still drawn to EQUO for its ease of use, and the $99 would include other FX as well. Is anyone here familiar with the I-L FX, specifically those included with Juice Pack?

Another vote for GlissEQ and SPAN.

Hi Andy-
ORIGINAL: AndyW

Another vote for GlissEQ and SPAN.

But why both? I mean, I already have SPAN, but GlissEQ includes a real-time spectrum analyzer, so why would I want SPAN in the same channel strip? Or do you mean you use SPAN on a bus?

Thanks-

You want this. It has excellent sound and is one of the best you can get inside a PC.

I downloaded the demo and scanned plug-ins, inserted it and immediately got a fatal error. Same thing after re-starting SONAR. I'll try downloading it again, but that's the only time SONAR has crashed with a demo I've loaded.
