Is there a way to get Sonar recognize these files (in loop explorer, to drag and drop into the project, etc)? I have a whole bunch of samples in MPEG-4 format. Do I need to convert all of these of wavs?
Thanks.

SONAR can recognize those files just not in Loop Explorer, because they are not acidized Loops.

You can click and drag from Windows explorer direct to SONAR.

Hi Mike V.  Thanks for responding, however, I have no ability to click & drag from Windows Explorer direct to SONAR.  Can you explain in more detail what you mean by this?  I have both windows open, side-by-side, then I click & drag my mpeg-4 audio(.m4a) filename across toward the SONAR X2 Producer window, and no matter where I try to drop it (unclick), e.g., the tracks pane or the loops pane, nothing happens.  What's wrong?  Is there an alternative approach that can work?
Thanks --David

I am not sure that is a supported format. Convert the file to a wav first. In the future, you might want to post in the forum above this one (and not resurrect 4 year old posts). This forum is for older versions of SONAR.
