Do you still get dropouts if you temporarily bypass all effects? (hitting the 'E' key on your computer keyboard will toggle off/on Bypass All Effects', so you can test it and simply hit 'E' again to turn them back on after testing).
Some plugins are really meant for mixing/mastering, and can cause snaps and crackles and dropouts if loaded into a project during recording. Bypassing all effects will quickly let you know if one or more plugins is/are contributing to any dropouts.
Concrete Limiter, LP-64 Multiband Compressor, LP-64 EQ and Perfect Space Reverb, and possibly also Transient Shaper and Boost 11, seem to be reported as contributing to dropouts during tracking/recording. Plugins that use look-ahead processing and/or are CPU-intensive can be problematic during tracking/recording.
The 'E' test is quick enough to know, one way or the other.
