hi everyone, i'm loosing my mind. I had to reinstall X-2 and since then i'm having problems with the sound card/X-2 settings. this I what I have
M-audio mobile-pre, record latency adjustment-128
driver mode- WDM/KS
audio bit driver-16/64 bit double engine
sampling rate-44100
buffers in playback queue-3
buffer size-11.6 msec
                 512 samples
M-audio properties
latency-256
sample rate-44.1
effective latency-44Hz  23.2 msec
I know this will be hard because everyone has different computers also when I use ASIO in the sound card the computer crashes/ blue screen/ then stop.I don't know what to do, I also had to reinstall windows 7 because of a problem unrelated to cakewalk
I would appreciate and be most grateful for any help or ides.  i'm off to rehearsal so I hope to have some things to try when I get back

First off, change your buffers in Que to 2 and never ever never ever change it.
Install the latest 64bit sound card driver from M-audio.
Set your bit rate to 24bit.
Then try Raising your WDM slider or lowering it.
Then try ASIO driver mode with different ASIO buffer settings
 
if you are still getting blue screen crashes, then try updating your PC's hardware and /or software drivers, like Bios and video card.
