I purchased some midi clips (piano) and I want to use them in a project but their tempo is half of what I want. Is there a way to double the tempo of a midi clip while leaving the project tempo as is? EZdrummer does this..

Select the clip. Choose Process > Length. Enter 50 for the By Percent parameter. Make sure both the Start Times and Durations options have checkmarks. Click OK.

That will shorten the clip by half, which will double the tempo.

Hey Scott! I knew Sonar could do this but I just couldn't find it in the manual.  Thanks as usual!

Hey Daniel,

Yeah, it's not as easy as typing in a new tempo for a clip (which would be a nice feature), but it works.
