You may have accidentally hidden the bus in the track view. "H" brings up the track manager.
 

Okay. I created a Master bus and directed all the appropriate tracks to it. The Master track exists in the console track, and it exists in the track manager in the track view. But even though it is checked to be visible it isn't. This doesn't make sense.
 
How could you have the Master bus visible in the console view, visible as checked to be visible in the Track Manager, but invisible in the track view?

Okay, when I watch the Master bus in the console view I can see the fade that I drew in in the track view. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it visible in the track view, nor do I know how I made it invisible.

Assuming the bus pane in the Track view is expanded, I do not know. Was the project created in X2 or a different CW DAW?

I know this is weird. In any case, I shut down Sonar and rebooted it, and the Master was now visible. Don't know how that happened, but scook's (and slartabart's) suggestion works. That should solve my immediate problem.
