I have imported an old project file from Sonar 8.53 into X2a and the instrument tracks do not have a waveform preview button.
However, when I create a new synth track, it has a waveform preview button.
 
I'm thinking that the reason that I don't have a waveform preview button is the way the synth track was created/configured in the old project.
Note:  The older project has the synths showing up in the FX bin of the audio track of the synth folder.  A newly inserted synth does not show this.
 
Is there any way of fixing this with the older synth tracks?  I know that I can create new synth tracks and then choose the same patch as the old synth track and then copy the MIDI data over to the new track - but is there a faster/easier way?
