Hello

When I add a large program, say about 320MB. it loads about 90% and then freezes.

Anybody have a fix or is there a way to manually load the program?

Any help is always appreciated.

Matthew

Is this a program included with DimPro, a 3rd party expansion pack or a custom creation? It there anything else in the project. Does the program load in standalone DimPro? You may want to make sure there is no hidden error dialog on the screen. Maybe some info about your hardware and OS could be useful.

FWIW, I grabbed a large piano patch "11- Pianos Grand Pianos 3v m3 rt.prog" and loaded another large piano sfz in a second element with no difficulty. Together they well exceeded 320MB.

The stand-alone loads fine.  Just inside X2 it freeze.  The is an addon from DSF Symhonic Strings HD.
See 2nd post for HW/SW

I created a new track and copy the notes to the new track
then tried in add the the program and it still crashes

Thanks

Does it load in a new project with DimPro as the only track?

It loads fine in another new project.

It seems to work now in the original project.  I had to load it a few times to work

Yea, things will get hung up at times.  No rhyme or reason.  Once you get it working somewhere's else, it is fine on all the projects.  Glad it is working for you.

@Matthew737,

I would suggest to you that you take those specs you provided earlier and edit your forum profile so that the specs are added to your signature.  That way, they will always be there for other in the forum to use in helping you with any future issues.  If you look at the bottom of my post, or some of the others, you can get an idea of how some of us list specs.
