Oddly, this has never come up before.  On the front of the V-Studio 700 console, there is an Aux input and you can choose to set it on Normal or Hi Z.  I assume this is for DI-ing an electric guitar.  So far so good.

When I go to a track in Sonar, however, to select it as the input, I can't find it.  All the inputs in the back of the IO are listed, but not this Aux input on the Console.

Anyone know how to set a track in Sonar to receive this?

I know this is sort of a V-studio question but it is also sort of a Sonar question, so I posted here.

Thanks.

My VS100 has a USB interface that sends this signal to Sonar and I choose input 1. Can't really remember what the input is called exactly. Not at PC. But it does allow me to choose a stereo or mono input.

Forgot to ask; Does the 700 have USB interface?

What about in Preferences > Audio > Devices > Input Drivers? Is it listed, and is it checked?

brundlefly, you were right.  It was not checked in preferences.  Thanks.

Oddly, however, the options are not AUX L, AUX Right, and AUX Stereo, which seems unusual for a 1/4 HI-Z input, but I will test it ou.
