  • How do I unhide hidden tracks in SONAR X1 Studio?

I can't find anything in the Help or online that tells me how to do this, except an old thread from 2003 which tells me to hit 'm' and that will bring up the track manager. Which of course it doesn't. I can't find any such thing in my version of SONAR X1 Studio (build 185). I'll obviously need something more than "click on the track manager icon" which is the kind of "help" I so often find when I search topics, etc.

Thanks,
John

Shift + H = Show all tracks. Ctrl + H = Hide selected track(s).

And pressing H will show the Track Manager. You can also access it from the Console View menus under Strips or Tracks (I forget which one but it's there). It's hidden in a few other menus as well but those are the two ways I open it.

Just realized you are on X1. Not sure if the H binding is the same as X2 but it is accessible through the console view menus.

Colin, I have always been too lazy too learn all the shortcuts and just know a few; but those you documented will really help me.  The SHOW ALL and HIDE SELECTED will save me a lot of time.  I typically hide all the MIDI and safety tracks while mixing, but sometimes need to open them to fix something.  Thanks.

What is a "safety track"? A backup copy of a track?

Use the Control key.

Use Shift for selecting a range of adjacent tracks, just as in normal Windows keyboard conventions.
