  • Why can't use reverb and the prochannel at the same time? (p.4)

They give multi-million dollar budgets to guys who can't get a reverb working right in a DAW? Wow, I missed a meeting.

LOL!!!!! Man, I've never seen somebody so in love with themselves.

Bristol_JoneseyMods, this thread should be locked

I would go one further, I would ban Musicalguit from the forums.

I'm all for freedom of speech, but it definitely seemed like this guy just wanted to start crap.

Lets assume the computer isn't reaching a resource limit, 192 sample rate should not cause a problem according to sonar specs which states sonar can handle a maximum sample rate of 384 kHz.

Musicalguit when you say crashing do you mean the audio engine drops out or does Sonar actually crash and close out?

Popping and drop outs usually occure when the computer is reaching its resource limits.

I appreciated the laugh.

I hope the OP gets it worked out.

And I did once make a recording at 192 just because I could. Not many tracks and it worked fine. Just a waste of space IMHO.

I'm not concerned about the sample rate. Who knows his target audience could be bats. What I am concerned about is the bit depth at 48. I don't think that is possible with an Audiophile 192 or any other audio card.

His listing of Audiophile 192 - 192k at 48 is troublesome.

Its funny though considering that CW bundled a PC module called Breverb with X2.

How does the 48 bits affect anything in this post? Inside the box it's already 64 bits if using Sonar's 64-bit FP audio engine.

I am the only person you have ever spoken to who's recordings have been acclaimed by a producer who has sold over 16 million albums.
The only person you know with finance in the MILLIONS for an upcoming international artist launch.

Well, that's just not true, ..... but whatever.

It continues to amaze me, the arrogance of some people. Wow, .... just WOW!!  lol

If its 48 bits its an integer value not a floating point. I'm not sure how Sonar will handle that. We don't know if it 64 bits or 32 bits. He may have the double precision audio engine turned off.

The OP indicated in Post#17 that the "48" was a mistake.
