Where are Dim Pro hollwood FX? I need those cannons!

After migrating to a new machine and updating OS on the old one, I can't find those Hollywood FX sample sets in Dim Pro.
Where are they?
How can I get them again?
Somebody want to dropbox me?
PM me if that's the easiest way.
Cheers.

If I recall correctly, they were included with disc 4 "Additional Content" with the release of 8.5 & X1.
I don't know about X2 because I only bought the download version, but you should find them here:
C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs

I didn't realized I didn't have them installed until Bliz's post. Then I couldn't find them after looking all over the place. Thanks Bristol. I doubt I would have ever run across them without you telling where to look.

Do you guys install your sample content from scratch when you migrate PCs? Why not just copy over the files/folders and keep it intact? As well as ensuring that you don't lose anything, it's also much quicker this way.

True Kev though sometimes the registry is involved. An install program often will write to it.

John, I spent a fair amount of time looking for them, then decided just to open up Dim Pro, clicked on "Load Program" and there they all are.

No Bristol I didn't have them installed and couldn't remember where I got them from. I even looked into my Cakewalk store account. If you hadn't said that they came from 8.5 and X1 installs I don't think I would have found them.
Again thank you.

On my system they got installed to a completely different directory to the rest of the .prog files (can't remember exactly where now; I'm at work). I've no idea why this happened. Alongside the 'normal' .prog files is a binary format (i.e. indecipherable) index file, so even after moving the Hollywood FX and other additional content to the folder containing the .prog files, they still don't show up in Dim Pro's program list. However, you can load them in explicitly by using the 'load program' feature and browsing to the .prog file.

I don't think there is any registry involved when installing content. Any time I have ever installed an expansion pack for DimPro or Rapture, it has always ignored the registry and installed to the default location in the C-drive. I always end up having to move it to the correct place manually.

Yeah, Kev, I have had spotty results with installers. While the expansion pack installers do not write to the registry, they are supposed to pick up values from the registry to install files. The current Rapture installer definitely ignores custom rp registry entries. Copying Program and Multisample data is pretty common for here. In the case of DimPro the change from wav to flac broke a few of the patches. Some patches that looped with wav samples no longer loop. Rather that try to keep up with where patches and samples come from, I have taken to copying the directories from older machines after installing the synths.
