Try to normalize to -3 dB. See if that is closer to what you want. You don't need to use every available bit to get sufficient levels for V-Vocal.

Roger, that's the idea I was searching for! thanks.
Gwitz, I did try that thanks but the noise comes with it in the normalizing.

Try using Melodyne or another tuning program. Im sure Melodyne can do it, even though its too low for V-vocal. V-vocal doesn't measure up to Melodyne.
