This is a new arrangement of a song I posted a while back about a father's nightmare involving a carnival and his young daughter.

I've been experimenting a lot with Miroslav Philharmonik (IKM) and the samples are so rich and sparkly I've been working at updating some of my better tracks. (A lot of my songs were originally produced using an old Roland JV-1010 sound module that was my go-to for years. The sounds were great for their time, but not nearly as impressive as what's available now.)

The song's beat was designed to have a mechanical, repetitive feel (like a merry-go-round) as the orchestral builds over it verse by verse in tandem with the drama of the lyrics. The idea sounded great in my head, I hope I pulled it off.

Any feedback would be great! Thanks.

I quite liked that, perhaps some more harmony volume? overall it worked here, thanks for sharing.

A very unique song.  I like the way it sounds on my system.  Kudos!

Sounds really good here, too. I agree with Wookie's assessment; some additional high harmonies would also help the dynamic build-up. Maybe even just on the last chorus during the fadeout.

Thanks Lynn and Bitflipper!
When you guys say more harmonies, are you talking about vocal harmonies?

Yes, for me and I believe the same for Bit

Okay. I brought up the harmony vocals a bit on the first chorus, a little more on the second chorus, and then backed them off a bit for the final repeat. It does sound better, thanks for the suggestion.

I also did some re-panning of a few of the percussion instruments. It felt a little heavy on the right side so I spread them out a bit better. I also brought up the pizzicato strings slightly. I had them so low before I actually forgot they were there, lol. Finally, I built up the crescendo at the end for a little more drama. Thanks everyone for your input!
