Every single VSTI I own has the same problem of not being able to expand to full screen. Even the best GUI fonts seem to get smaller the longer amount of time in session I use it.

I've suggested this to every designer to add a 'full screen' option. Only one company has written me back and said they thought it good enough of an idea to try and implement (whether they do it or not remains to be seen).

All that said, SampleTank is worth the price because of it's library. (especially at the $39. w/8gb library sale price I picked it up at.) The deal now is not as cheap ($70.?) and I think you only get around 6 GB with it, but considering you get it at 50% off and another of their VIs free. It's still worth the price... GUI PITA or not. 

Add: Btw, thanks for the suggestions of Windows Magnifier and/or sending it to another monitor. Going to try both as soon as I can.

The Sampletank interface is huge (if you run at 640x480 resolution).
640x480 was probably a standard when Sampletank came out...

for my rather vocal ranting against IK in regards to this product....there are LOT's of other threads also ....

I'd expect another 8 year wait after ST 3 is released at the end of this year for the next version...

But the iApp will be updated regularly....so I guess we all need to sell our PC's and use the iPhone to Update our 
STUDIO to IK's standards of what's important and what isn't...

refx NEXUS 2 is a great synth and its GUI is expandable (it can be quite big).

SampleTank 2 runs fine on my Sonar X2b 64 bit. The current interface is not re-sizable and small at the resolution I'm running at but I changed the GUI backround color to a light blue and everything is quite legible.
 
You really can't beat the current price at AD and will get another freebie instantly plus they are over half way to the next freebie. Check out the IK Multimedia site for the details.
 
If you have access to the Groove3 videos they have an excellent instructional video with Eli Krantzberg that really sold me on the potential power of SampleTank.
