I like what I hear in the Cakewalk demo's, but they're all processing guitar. Which is a bit strange given that they're called "Vintage Keyboard FX." I was hoping to hear some audio snippets of them in action on some electric piano or something. It's also baffling when you go to the Overloud site and there are no audio demos there. I mean it's pretty much a given these days that a plug manufacturer includes some before & after examples on the site. Not too keen on downloading and installing VST demos without hearing a ballpark example of them in use first.

OK so I found this great demo of VKFX on YouTube. He's putting the Neo-Soul Keys through it and it sounds FANTASTIC. Having said that the Neo-Soul Keys sounds damn good to begin with (don't worry CW, I don't think Neo-Soul Keys is offering this VKFX bundle any more, so I figured safe to post!). The guy's enthusiasm is infectious as well

I have had the VKFX VST for a long time. It is great and i use it a lot. Its mostly aimed at electric pianos and it really brings them to life. But of course there is no reason why you cant use it on guitars or anything else.

maybe like more am in 2 minds... since some of it's repeats of what I already have (d16 / t-racks / fabfilter) .. nice that it's PC though.. guess I'll try the demos and do some comparisions

Hi all,
there is a French site that had tested the VKFX when it came out with some audio examples  (rhodes, wurly, Solina...)  > "http://fr.audiofanzine.com/bundle-plugin-fx/overloud/vkfx/editorial/tests/des-effets-pour-vos-claviers.html"

Sounds really good! :)
And I've really missed having more different kinds of effects for the PC.

I've created quite a few PC FX Chains with all kinds of effects, but until we get more customization options for this (wishful thinking) it can never replace a "real" PC module.. :)

Thanks CW!! :)
