Thanks Sharke ...for the share... this young man is a great demonstrator. I'd like to make music with this fellow...

Yeah I'd give anything to be able to noodle on keyboards like that....he's playing all my favorite chords.

Am I the only having a "issue" getting a link to the demo from Overloud?
Love the Neo Soul Video!
Don't mean to be rude, but if I was trying to sell some bundles, I'd do a little better job with the Cake examples.
I mean, just trying to keep it real...

So I "pulled the trigger" without the demo.
Big Mistake!
Where's the cool rack of gear and all the presets?
Evidently that was just for Neo Soul?
I told myself I would NEVER do that again; buy before demoing I mean.
Breverb, NOT my goto.
TH2, NOT my goto.
I'll have to "learn" to set up FX chains I guess.
Just venting!
BUT, I would TRY before I BUY!

I gonna "cry" one more time.
From the Cakewalk store:
"SONAR X1 Producer Expanded or SONAR X2 Producer are required to use the ProChannel versions."
From Sonar Producer X1d Expanded:

Come on Cake; get it (and we all know what IT is) together!
I'm done ranting for the day.

That's the VST version, which you should also get along with the Pro channel versions. The presets are pretty good starting points and nicley organised to reflect the keyboard thay were designed for, Rhodes and Wurlis mostly but there are some clav and organ presets too.  I guess that is somthing that could be missing in the pro channel version, so just stick the VST in the FX bin.

You might want to send that issue to tech support. It might be that Overloud accidentally used the same code as Breverb to lock to X2 and above.

@Glyn,
I tried that (the FX bin) all modules are individual.
@scook,
I'll do that.

Thanks to both,

Thats a shame, I had assumed the VST version would be the same as the original Overloud product. I am not at my DAW so I can't check but the I am pretty sure the DLL on that original version is called VKFX.DLL if you want to check and see if its there. On the original you cannot insert individual effects.

Those presets are really FX chains inside the VKFX rack interface, maybe they have been ported over to FX chains.

From the Cakewalk email:
Overloud VKFX now ProChannel compatible - buy it today for only $99
We are pleased to announce that Overloud have made their critically-acclaimed Vintage Keyboard FX available in the ProChannel format. Overloud VKFX is a virtual rack packed with outstanding models.

Notice it says "Virtual Rack".

I'll look around for VKFX.dll

The installer for the full suite put a folder called "Overlound" in the Cakewalk/vstplugins folder.
The folder has the 8 individual module dlls in it.

Thanks for the heads up, off to contact support at both Overloud and Cake.

Don't they test these things out???

The product illustration does show the VST VKFX rack. It would be good to know if that is included in the package.
