Hi guys,

I don't know why but i can't record anything from a soft synth bass, piano or drums that are available on Sonar X2 soft synth menu. It just don't work.
I Play the synth instrument while recording and at the end there is no record on the track. The funny thing is that i can record  just with
the Z3ta+ synth... Is the only one the actually record something...

Any Ideas? It's driving me crazy =/.

What are you trying to record? I hope its MIDI. A little information here would help. Are you using a MIDI keyboard controller? 

No controllers, just mouse and keyboard.

And as far as i know its MIDI, i just "Insert > Soft Synth > ST Bass-Guitar" and then i use Mouse/Keyboard to play.

have ye hit 'record' on control bar/ on soft synth track ?
track would become red colour, if not -> it's not in recording mode...
 
 

Yes, the track is armed and recording... The track become red but nothing is recorded...
 

OK what are you playing in? Is it a keyboard on the screen? Are you hitting the various drums shown in the drum synth? 
 
If so that is just for auditioning not for recording. Open up the Piano Roll View and input notes using your mouse. That will be recorded. 
 
Or buy a MIDI keyboard controller to play. It can be hooked up and Sonar will record the MIDI it outputs.

can record also with stepsequencer on soft synth
it's the keyboard icon left up on the Softsynth interface.
specially on drums/bass it can be handy,  can switch/revert to midi recording as desired
