The first take I did of this song, I recorded it at 80 BPM. This one is at 145 BPM. I hope you can overlook the Cubs thing. I've been working harder at the mixing thing. Please let me know what you think about every thing and any thing.

Nice happy song! You wait a while to bring up the Cubs or even baseball in general, so for the first minute I wondered if I was witness to some sort of surreal juxtaposition experiment.
 
I think if you polished up the vocal just a tad, maybe doubled it? it might work a treat.
 
I understand the love of a perennial lost cause - Padres and Mariners fan here. But this year could be it for the Cubbys!

Terry, I have a hard time getting anything done once baseball season has begun.  My team is the Royals, and now that they broadcast 150 plus games a year, I have to fight myself for studio time.  Let's hope for a Cubs/Royals world series this year!  You can see the kind of mood your song has put me in, so kudos to you.
