Finally lost his 6 month battle with cancer last night.

Poor old sod didn't even recognise me when I went to see him in the afternoon, he was that morphin'ed up to the gills.

Went home intending to come back this morning, got the call at 11pm that he had passed.

Sad day.

Very sorry to here that Jonesey. My father also passed away (2 yrs ago) from cancer......all within 3 weeks of finding out he had cancer. Anyway, my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I am so glad I went with my sister to see him last night, to see him free of pain and anxiety was a complete blessing.

I will take better memories of seeing him like that compared to how he was beforehand.
