This probably sounds corny, and I'm well aware than lots of forum participants come here to get help with problems.  I just gotta say that I really enjoy Sonar.  I've recently done some work on anther DAW and I did enjoy it, especially once I got the workflow down.  I'm sure I'll be doing more work on it.  But coming back to Sonar makes me appreciate it even more...very cool stuff here.

Yes this is why it doesn't bug me when some one talks about leaving. Sonar is a very easy DAW to use.

I agree. Sonar is very easy to use. I’m staying with it even though it does have its quirks. Take and automation lanes are two that bother me but I have work arounds so they are not show stoppers.

Also I don’t post much but I have solved most all off my problems from the expert advice given on these forums. I want to thank all for that. There are a couple that I can not repeat so the problem for those most likely was me.

PS – why is it that when someone leaves they have to make a big deal out of it? Why not just go?

I'm one of the folks who's been pining for the release of X2b, but the reason I want it so badly is that I love SONAR. The desire for a few bug fixes doesn't change that basic fact. I use it every day and am happy with it every day. Cheers!

I too love Sonar, which is why its many issues and problems trouble me so. It's like dating a beautiful woman with bad breath

I also agree with most everything said.

Working on some projects right now that help me realize I am "just now" starting to get the real impact of all the changes made since X1. I wanted to learn the new way, so I forced myself to abandon all my previous work flow techniques and start anew. It's taken a while but I am really starting to enjoy this again, because my work flow has sped up and I can concentrate on what I'm doing instead of how to do it, this way, or that way, or .....

I never thought I would use the ILPRV. Just saw no use for it. Well I have found a use, and it works damn well!! Along with the smart tools I can work on midi drum tracks like I never did before.

Started really getting into the Pro Channel. That thing is sweet. I like it better than the fx's bin that's for sure.

And now that I know what all the major key bindings are, I have taken the next step and created my own again. And now it's really going to town! Working nicely.

I am starting to use screen sets as they were intended to be used. I just wish they'd fix the bug about the drum pane collapsing every time you switch screens. But other than that, they are truly a wonderful feature of Skylight.

And I agree so much with Mario, why do they still do this? I say you wannna leave? Leave. Leave us alone as you walk out the door!! : )

I'm with everyone here. I enjoy Sonar a lot.

I started with Sonar 6, and found it a huge shock when the X series came along. It took me w while, but ended up loving X1.

X2 is even better. I've had to use X1 a couple of times recently, and it really brought home how much X2 improved on it.
