Hi ladies and gents. My first post on this forum..
I've been in the game now for a few years and have worked on many different DAW's since I started but spent most my time with cubase and pro tools software. I'm still a fan of Cubase and always will be(not so much pro tools), but Sonar opened new doors for me. In my studio I worked with Cubase SX3 and moved onto 5 when it got released. Even though known for it's stability, cubase just started crashing after about two years! I thought it was my pc so i built a new one but still it kept crashing for some reason. I know i could've figured out what the problem was but then i remembered working on Sonar 6 once in a small studio i freelanced at and really liked it so decided maybe it'll be a good time for a change(also seeing that my last cubase crash wiped about 6 projects, paying customers btw, off my pc for no reason).
I spoke to a friend of mine that i know worked with Sonar 8 and 8.5 PE and he told me he's moving over to cubase. So i swopped my discs with his, got some updates from cakewalk and since registering i've not even missed my old DAWs. No crashes so far and a smiling engineer

. I'm still trying to get over the initial lurning curve so that's why i joined up here to recieve(and give where i can) advice and tips.
I hope we can help each other out.
