Does anyone know if the playback delays have got significantly longer with 64-bit version of Sonar and the Transient Shaper TS-64 Plug in (or with Win 8 versus Win 7)?
The reason I ask is that I have always left my recorded midi tracks (just drum tracks) to trigger Session Drummer when mixing - rather than having to freeze or bounce them down. I like to try out a Transient Shaper on some of the drums during mixing, and this all worked very well until I upgraded to 64-bit Sonar. Now the same tracks are completely unplayable - drum beats missing and badly out of time. So it's necessary to freeze the Session Drummer tracks during mixing. It only seems to be TS-64 which gives the problem - other plug-ins are fine. It's a much less flexible mixing setup, so a big step back for me - and I'm keen not to have to fall back to 32-bit Sonar.
