Old and old-school Cake user (15 years of rock-solid Cake 12 on XP finally died) with new gear and X3 Pro having panning & stereo issues.  Echo Audiofire 12 - Sonar appears to "see" and record all 12 channels (e.g., L, R, stereo for each pair 1-2 through 11-12), but when mixing no apparent stereo and even though Master bus outputs in stereo, cannot actually pan anything to the R.  Any clues, thoughts, or suggestions?  TIA.

have you checked the mix software ?

And what do your Each individual track inputs say ?
Also note: make sure you have selected the units inputs and outputs in Preferences.

Thanks for these suggestions.  Working back through the Echo console (which showed full stereo on 1-2) and other internals (all OK) led me back to hardware and I found a funky channel in my old Soundcraft board.  Switched and got full stereo output.  I used to frequent this forum regularly in the 90s (Laylas & Cake 7-12), and the little nudges almost always steered me true. Looking forward to relearning what I used to know plus all of the advances since ~2000 (phew!). Thanks again.
