Hey Everyone,

Is there a way to alter the volume and panning of individual clips without altering the whole track?

In Sonar 8 you could double click on a clip and it would bring up a new window, in this section you could create transient points (without looping) and alter the gain/pan of each segment. It would also tell you the original clip tempo, which was great for remixing).

Is there a way to enable this box or something similar in Sonar X2?
It worked similar to Sound Forge but within Sonar.

In the track view, right underneath the name of the track, there's a dropdown box that by default reads "Clips."  This box determines which automation envelope you're looking at on the track.

Click in this box and go to "Clip Automation."  You'll see the choices for Gain and Pan.

This box is also where you get your envelopes for all automatable parameters for all of your plugins.  Select the parameter you want here, and the envelope will show up and you can start editing it.

Thanks very much for the reply Seth!
I'll have a look through it all tonight, still getting my head around the new design.

Anyone know how to find the "original bpm" of a clip?

Also, while I'm asking questions, in Sonar 8 I could click "c" and it would slice a clip wherever the marker was currently sitting, is this an option on X2? Or do you have to click with the mouse?
