Have you worked through the step by step tutorials at the start of the manual? I also agree you should take a look at the X2 vids in the video section of this site. Things will become much clearer if you do those things. It's reasonably simple once you get through the initial learning curve but without doing the start up tuts you'll be lost just poking around. You may also want to pick up X2 Power by Scott Garrigus. His writing style is a little easier to understand than the manual writers and he gives better exercises to work through. I only have X1 Power but it should be pretty much the same deal.
