Greetings to all,
I was working on a vocal track that has been split into segments to be able to do individual work on different parts of the vocal. I had the lex rev on. I picked one of the parts to add a different effect (Breverb) which worked well, but when I played the whole track back the original effect was gone from the track. Is this normal.
On a side note. Just a reminder to save often when doing work. Of course, only when you are satisfied with the results. Then when X2 develops a problem and shuts down you are able to at least retrieve to the last save. Otherwise.......Work gone when able to reload. I have to kick myself for not remembering this little importance.

You should be able to add effects to individual clips. I would do it differently though.

Set up busses for your reverbs of choice. Then you automate the sends for the track so your reverb is what you want when you want it.

If the segments are different enough from each other, it can really pay off to split it into different tracks.  Like one track for 'Lead Voc Verse' and a different track for 'Lead Voc Chorus.'  I find that I don't like using clip effects if I can help it.  I tend to lose track of what I've done, and it's much less convenient to make changes.
