I usually find the sp.DLL and drag it into the vst folder.
And once you do that, you will have to continue to do that every time you run a Superior Drummer update. It is so much better to leave the DLL in it's installed location so that registry entries remain consistent. If you want to install into the Cakewalk VSTplugins folder, do it in the Superior Drummer installation process.
I know, if there was an update every week, month that might be an issue for me.
never had a problem with registry entries but, I like my vst/ vst-i all in the same area.
