How does one edit their OWN posts,with the new stylised forum?

Hi,
yes I know Iv'e tried search,again,and again,but I just cannot seem to work out HOW to EDIT my own post's any more?

Click on the Edit button at the bottom of your post when displayed.
Oh, the edit button is on the right hand side along with others there at the bottom of your posts.
I just edited this post to include this addition.

No,there must be a time limit,as I can edit the posts I just made but this one I REALLY WANT to edit is 3 weeks old,and the "Edit" DOES NOT appear anymore[at the same place it DOES in the very recent posts!]

Bummer.
