I've found V-Vocal does not behave well with some VST instruments, BFD2 specifically.  If I have BFD in the synth rack, V-Vocal crashes sonar, if I remove BFD it works fine.
 
Now if I could only find out why my insert effects like to bypass themselves requiring a restart of sonar....
