In X2a the Clip covers the upper and lower Track Separators leaving them only visible before and after a Clip.

So if a Clip starts at 1:01:000 you will not know they are there until you reach the end of the Clip.

In X1 the Clip covers the upper one but you can still see the lower one.

Wouldn't these be more useful if they were actually visible along the Clips?

Clips themselves have black outlines so I never felt the need to see the track separators behind.

It's not a big deal at all really and the lines are hardly noticeable anyway due to their color. But since we have the option I just thought they would be more useful if they were more visible.

Similarly, there might be users who want to see the vertical lines hidden behind (i.e. an option to make clips see-through. maybe Sonar already has it and I just don't know?). Studio One has that option and I once enabled it, but it made the clips too dark and made the depressing-looking DAW even more depressing so I disabled it. :)

No, you have 3 choices.

1 No lines
2 Under Clips
3 Over Clips

Zoomed out, the "over clips" option turns everything too dark as well so I keeps 'em under.

Many options are nice but too many unimportant options could scare new users away. But I'm not against the idea. I just think CW should first review the X2 Reference Guide to remove redundant explanations and update old information.
