  • Where do I put wav files from Loopmasters inX2a?

I just finished installing SonarX2a and all the bonus club content, free AAS sound banks, etc., everything I have accumulated over the past year or more while hanging in there with 8.53.

I downloaded the Bonus Content called LoopMaster 100, Artist Series Compilation and I now have a folder entitled the same which contains 2 folders: Loops (with 100 folders of wav files) plus Sounds and FX (containing wav files).

My Q is how is X2 organizing these and where do I put them? I assume these folders are one shots and not loops as the latter appear to be Rx2 files as they show up in my X2 Media Browser.

Thus should I just copy or move the folder into C:\Cakewalk Content\Audio Library\One Shots ?

In other words just kinda follow the default organization?

Thanks and much appreciated.

absolutely :)
you can even start a new file in there like for example:
c\cakewalk content\old library\audio
                                             \midi

or

c\cakewalk content\my custom library
that's what I do usually.

Yeah, if you follow the default Cakewalk Content folder structure, then you won't need to create new content locations in the Browser. Although, it's not really a big deal to do that.

But really, you can put content wherever you like... you'll just need to create content locations if you want to access it quickly from the Browser.
