I try to exercise logic every day. But I spell it with a small "L".

Why would a PC user want to check out Logic's drummer? Does a Mac come with the trial?

One could get BFD2 and be done with it.

I don't even know where to begin with this.  Very short sighted.

Whats short sighted about it?

Well for one, you are making the assumption that b/c I'm primarily a PC user that I don't have access to a Mac.  How come I can't have both???  Is that impossible??? I know several people who have both.  I use Sonar b/c it's what I started on and I'm comfortable with it, not b/c I don't have a Mac.  Which is why I keep my eye on what's going on on that side as well.  Even more so recently, b/c like a lot of others, I'm uncertain and a bit nervous about the direction Cakewalk is headed.

There are videos out demonstrating various features of Logic's Drummer.  Some of which I like and definitely wouldn't mind seeing Session Drummer incorporate.  Honestly I don't even really use Session Drummer that much, I'm just speaking from a standpoint of wanting to see Sonar be the best possible product it can be for everyone.  Not just myself.  Just b/c you like a program doesn't mean there is not room for improvement.

And I'm not sure why you wouldn't keep an eye on the competition and the latest developments in the industry.  How else would you know if you are using a product that is current and up to speed.  I always check out what other companies are doing.  Doesn't necessarily mean that I think they are better.

Perhaps there should be a forum that is host neutral. This is for a Windows based program that is found most often on PCs.  The other thing is why promote another DAW anyway? As far as I am concerned we have seen way too much of that recently. Also as stated I said why a PC user. If you have both, fine, that is your problem. But I was addressing the PC user. To me advocating and promoting for a competing DAW is bad form here.

There are alternatives to changing DAWs as well as platform to get a high quality drum synth.
