  • Importing wav from Pro Tool no go--imports but no wav--shows in Sound Forge

Basically thats it--did a session at my guitarists on PT--sent me mp3 no problem. Sonar not showing imported wav though. Doesn't warn that not compatible. Shows up in SF

go into preferences/file/audio data, and uncheck "always import broadcast wavs at their timestamp" its a pro tools thing this, the default for b wavs being exported is an hour into the project

Thank you so much. Finished all timely tracking sessions with mp3, but will re-import the wav's tomorrow. Do you use PT often? I've donecbout 30 songs on it only---mostly bass, drum, keys, vicals, guitar. I'm so slow at it. I can fly in X2.

Just to clarify....are you trying to import an MP3 or a .wav file? What is sample rate of the .wav file?

I use it when I have to. I sold my digirack etc. Have considerred getting it again for obvious reason (every studio in Tokyo uses it.)
