Hi!I am new to sonar. I want to buy the x1essential versión.  Could I update to x2 for free? Has the offer expired? And Can I install the v64 vocal strip in the essential version? Thanks in advance and excuse my english please.

Just buy X2 Essentials. I don't believe there is any offer that will let you upgrade for free.

If you own any other Cakewalk product, such as Music Creator, you may be able to get a discount for being a Cakewalk customer.

I'm sure there are still boxed versions out there as leftover stock from retailers being sold. The upgrade offer expired looong ago though.
