My Band Risky Business (Billboards top 40 from the 80's) Played this pretty "upscale" block party last night. Never saw so many drunk people with money in one spot in my life and... they we're determined to have a good time.  
 
I am just waking up and starting the day .. and wanted to share on how much fun I had .. probably the most fun i've had so far in this bands three years existence

Sounds like exactly why you play in a band to me! 

One advantage of playing oldies for old folks...they've got money. Somebody dropped a hundred dollar bill into our tip jar a couple weeks ago. These are the same people I used to play for in the 70's who'd only show up on dollar-pitcher night.
