Add a few berries. 30 seconds in the Vitamix. Best breakfast ever (and I usually hate vanilla-flavored things).
Added bonus: I could run a marathon 15 minutes after I ingest it.
Last night we were celebrating our 7th anniversary together and we decided to go out to one of our favorite fancy places and eat a good steak. We don't typically eat steaks at home - in fact we barely ever eat red meat. Plus it had been over a year since we'd been there so we really were craving it.
The meal was AMAZING.
The rest of the evening not so much. Red meat definitely doesn't qualify as "clean fuel" or as an efficient source of energy.
No regrets, but I don't see myself having that kind of meal more than one every year or two. I'll stick with chicken, turkey and veggies. That being said, I could eat eggs until I burst.
So - you guys can have all the bacon. :P
