Does anyone know if the download in the "My Products" page for SX3 is the the "Final" version? 
In other words, does it include any and all software "patches"?
 
I'm, like so many of you, backing up my software in case I need to revert back to it in the future. I have no interest in learning how to use a brand new piece of software, let alone the financial outlay.

I thought that X3 was distributed on disc, and the updates were available as downloads to be applied once X3 was installed.

X3 was available on disk and as a full download (full downloads started with X1), however; the version listed in your account is not patched. You will need the X3e patch to bring the version in your account to the last release.
 
Keep in mind X3 will open projects created with newer versions with a warning EXCEPT projects containing aux tracks or patch points. Only version of SONAR that support aux tracks and patch point can open projects containing them.
