i'm trying to convert a wave file to midi data. the files were recorded on a mac from a presonus studiolive board. the recording was saved as a zip, uploaded, downloaded, unzipped, then each channel imported into sonar. don't know if any of that makes any difference but i want to give as full picture as i can if any of it matters. so once loaded into sonar i select audio transients in the edit filter drop down box in the channel, i highlight the track, open the audiosnap interface, adjust the parameters necessary, then add a synth track, setup the synth, paste the midi data onto the midi track created and every time no matter what i try the first 4 1/2 measures are blank, theres no data. when i try to drag the edge from where the data starts back to the beginning of the track there is just nothing there. i've tried with multiple tracks and it does the same thing every time. could someone give me an idea of where to start? i'm no guru but i can find my way around if given a map. thnks

I'm not sure if it's feasible given the length of the clips, but I think VVocal also has a pitch to MIDI conversion too.

Also, you could try splitting the clips and processing them separately.
