This is a cool song, and, if you bring the vocal up a notch or two, then it will shine.  It could easily be as loud as the lead guitar.  All in all, this was fun to listen to and has a great, vintage vibe.

I like it Steve! I think Lynn is right about bumping the vocals just a touch. I like the dynamic quality on this. It reminds me of the way it used to be, starting off kind of reserved in volume, then building in strength throughout the song. I especially like the song after the 3:00 mark. There's some nice guitar going on there. Nice job!

Your tune took me right back to the fun times I had in the 70's!  I agree about a few mix tweaks...vox level, drums, etc.

Cool and quirky!!

@Lynn - Thanks, I appreciate the input, and the vintage comment.   It seems the vocals have it on this mix.  So my mission, if I choose to accept it...

@Bob - Thanks, and yes, having linear dynamics was definitely a big part of what I wanted to do.  I'm glad that last section came across; it was supposed to emulate that classic rock "big ending" thing, as best I could.

@Tony - Yeah, I remember the 70's, sorta.     But it was definitely an inspiration.  Cool and quirky works for me!

I get that vintage ('70's sound) also.  I agree with Lynn.  Bring up the vocals a bit and you have a really good one going here.

Thanks, Freddy.   I'll certainly be doing some tweaking to get the vocals to pop a bit more.

OK, I've made some changes as noted in the OP using everyone's suggestions.  Much appreciated!

I like that little build about 2:00.  It is a straight ahead rock song that twists and turns.  Quite interesting.  The guys are giving their best crits and fixes so I won't.  They are all better at that than I am.  i am commenting on the song which I think is very interesting and far from simple.  It's good work, Steve.

@ Warren - thanks, I appreciate the comments.  And yeah, I often have a difficult time not doing twists and turns.

@Phil - I'm glad you enjoyed it.  The guitar parts at the end were certainly fun to do!
