How do you get the search window to appear?

+1 on Elffin. I must be missing something...

Thanks again for sharing.

Oops, I didn't update the files I thought I had. (Forgot about case-sensitivity on the hosting web site and thought I was updating projectscope.exe by uploading projectScope.exe, when in reality it created a new file. Actually, it's not that I forgot--why should I even have to remember something like that?!?)

Anyway, search IS in there now. Also that "out of bounds range" thing is, well, a thing of the past. (See archive.org for details.)

Thanks for the heads up on that metronome/grooveplayer issue. I'll make a note to address that somehow. My primary plan is to ignore it, but that will probably be revised. (I should put a smiley here, but which one?)

Edit: My apologies for the inconvenience caused in the faulty update. Thanks for your comments!

Well is the metronome effectively a hard coded plugin? Once you know what it's not much of an issue anyway. Maybe it should be better identified but it's no biggy. Thanks.

And list index sorted - thanks.  This is very neat.

Export to Excel/XML next? :-)

No worries on the mis-upload. We're just grateful you've provided this to the community.

On the file name thing, Linux file names ate case sensitive, windows by default are not. It often causes confusion when transferring files between systems.

Great app, Mark. Thanks for sharing!

Rainy-day feature suggestion: drill-down details for audio files and plugins.
Examples...

- copy-pastable full pathnames to audio files
- context menu option to open folders for audio files and plugins
- sizes and datestamps of audio files
- sample rates and wordlengths for audio files
- version numbers and full pathnames for plugins
- instance count for plugins, e.g. "Channel Tools (3)"
- interleave (mono/stereo) for tracks, assuming that information is easily accessible
- frozen status for tracks, assuming that information is easily accessible
- option to open a project
- total project size
- last-modified date/time (projects, audio and plugins)
- project sample rate

I know, a project like this can become never-ending and you have to draw the line somewhere. These are just suggestions if you want to keep expanding on the idea.

Nice looking tool czyky!

I have been thinking of writing a tool that would peak in the CWP file too, but for a slightly different purpose. Perhaps this could become a feature request in yours instead:

I'd like a list of audio WAV files in the project's audio folder that are NOT referenced within that CWP.

Basically this feature would form the beginnings of audio file management and deletion (the elusive sophistication many have wanted for a while that is lacking in present tools?). It would be great to be able to click a button to say "move all unused audio WAV files to an archive folder". That way the tool doesn't delete anything but the user can take responsibility for handling that.
