One more update, fixing a few things, adding a few minor features. (Improvements? You decide!)

Thanks again for all your comments and suggestions. If you've made none, but downloaded ProjectScope anyway, thanks for that too! Apps are made to be applied, I always say (starting about 10 seconds ago).

The latest incantation of ProjectScope allows you to copy a list of items to the clipboard (right-click), from whence you can paste into whatever. The items are tab-delimited (the lists, not the user info), so they should flow into, say, a spreadsheet. KPerry, will that work for you? There's an option to fill in audio file file information (in addition to just the file names). (More information in the future, I suppose.)

Bitflipper, with that shopping list (all good), I'm tempted to promote you to head of R&D. Or maybe marketing. VariousArtist, your idea is good direction, too, I think. I do that procedure all the time (as I'm sure a lot of us do), but it's half by hand. (Example: "ProjectScope show eight audio files belonging to this project, but file explorer shows ten wav files total in the directory. Which are the two unused files?") Having the whole procedure of moving off the superfluous file with a click would be sweet indeed.

I think a full report print feature would be cool. Why? Actually I don't see a utilitarian need for it, but other DAWs don't have it, so we should!

Wait a sec---did I say "incantation"? I meant "incarnation". You knew that, right?

You rock!!

As was stated before, the paths of missing/used media would be a great feature for my vote too.
Back in the boot CD age, there was small media players we could add to play from the program UI, but of course they weren't compiled in. lol
To be able to audition the wavs I haven't properly named, or the projects I name with the date because I'm just jamming.... that would tickle my squirrel. lol

Just having a starting point for missing file paths is great ... I'm always adding drives, reinstalling the os, or something, and I have tons of junk. lol

Much gratitude for your time and energy on this project for us crazy Sonarians.

TSV is good!

In the spirit of sharing, I'll soon have my little VST name manager available - remember how annoying it is when you've renamed plugins, you re-run a full scan and all the names get zapped?  This saves names (and other setting you might want to recall) to an XML file for all VST plug-ins, then reloads them after you've scanned.  Somewhere, I've got some notes about how to trigger the scan programmatically, so if I can do that, it'll have a single button that backs up settings, fires off the scan, then re-imports settings (for 32 and 64 bit installs).

Thanks, czyky, it's really nice.  I've been wishing for something like this for years.

The only big feature request I make is wildcard searches, so I can target the projects I want to look at, or even see all of them.
e.g. * or *.* or mysong*.cwp or my*.* etc...

....The rest is gravy.

Thanks!
