Hi,
I read somewhere that the samples in SD2 are already mixed/produced...is that true?
I'm trying out CLA Drums from Waves, and I'm finding the Snare effects not good at all (sounds too harsh IMO). It sounds much better just with a light compression and a bit EQ.
Can anyone confirm?

If you are using a "Preset" then YES, they will have the effects already
on the tracks.  If you want them RAW you have to go and take (or turn) all the
effects off...

They will still be affected (effected) by the "room" in which they were recorded
but will not be "processed".

Neglected to mention...if you kill the "overheads", "room", and "ambient"
mixer channels you'll get a "more raw" drum sound.

I see...surprised how good it sounds, even without the presets. Great plugin.
