Where is it, so I can turn it on.
After all the editing I did last night and had theses ppl's track almost where I want it, it's pretty much all gone now.
I turned on the system this morning and out of 36 tracks only 5 were still there. All my settings such as eq and plugins are still there but the audio gone
This is the 1st time this has happened to me. We had a storm last night that cut the power a couple times but my stuff was already turned off so I don't that storm could have impacted it.

So I think autosave is turned off as I only had the one cwp file in the folder.

Preferences > File > Advanced
The Advanced radio button at the bottom of the Preferences screen must be selected to see the option

Preferences/File/Advanced and at the top you have options on how you want auto save to work. I have it save every 10 changes. I don't use the time option. Because I don't want it to save right in the middle of me doing something. The way I have set, it waits till I make the change then it saves.

I also have Versioning turned on.

Definitely use autosave.

Were the tracks audio or MIDI?

If they were audio, try looking in the audio folder to see if the wavs are still there.

Were the tracks missing, or just the content?

You may have to fiddle with the settings. I love the feature but if you set it to auto save to often, it can be annoying. (unless that bug was fixed. If it was a bug)  It definitely is a cool feature.

They were audio, the WAV's are still there( in the folder), just all the work I did to them is not. At least all the settings I made were still there just that the audio was not.
Bizarre!

Sorry to be dense, but I just wish to clarify something.

Seeing as you said your settings were still there, were the tracks still there, but the audio was missing?  No waveforms showing and no audio sounding, but the tracks still showing, with effects etc. intact?

I stay away from autosave, think about how easy control+s is.
just press control+s every 5 minutes or so and make sure your saving during times where not much is going on because
let me ask you this.
would you save a project while you were in the middle of inserting a soft synth ?
I wouldn't do those 2 things at the same time because one is cpu intensive, the other is trying to gather the info to save to hard disk.
this can lead to white screens. not always, but sometimes and im not about to take that chance.
as some have learned even saving a project while the transport is in motion can lead to a white screen.
you can use it like grem is saying but I find it try's to save before the cpu is done slowing down from a move that may be intensive.

just my opinion

good luck
