did you check to make sure the midi cable is plugged into the keyboard 'midi out' and the 'midi in' on the sound card?

omg.
  I got it to work after this thread and thought i had plugged into wrong hole but that's not the case.  I must have just worked for some unknown reason (maybe not enough power from usb into computer and sometimes it works...not sure.)

I am at a loss.  All I know for sure is:
1. Midi signal is definitely making it to E MU soundcard.  
2. No signal in Sonar from midi.
 
I have combed this thread and tried everything.  
 
Maybe it's my Lenovo computer?
