Doesn't say what the Hdd speed is...

HDDs in most laptops are inevitably 5400rpm.

Sonar can only use up to 2GB of the available RAM. And anyway you won't be maxing out Sonar on an old laptop.

Not sure. I have run Sonar on a Dell Studio 1537 Laptop with Core 2 Duo 2GHz. I wouldn't particularly want to go too much lower in spec than this.
