Hi there. I made the leap and bought a new machine, 64-bit OS, 64-bit Sonar, great. Unfortunately, the audio effects I was using in Windows XP were 32-bit, so my songs take a long time to open in Sonar on Windows 7 (says 'Not Responding' for a dozen minutes or more or forever) and then I am warned that the plug-ins won't work. Here are my questions:
1. I've grown accustomed to using PowerStrip and StudioVerb2. Any way to use them in Windows 7 in 64-bit mode? Sonar 6XL 64-bit just left them out in the installation.
-- side note: i've seen people say we can mix 32- and 64-bit things but warn it ends up running everything in 32-bit -- less memory addressable, etc. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of upgrading?
2. What are good 64-bit alternatives to PowerStrip? Cakewalk is selling Sonitus FX bundle for $19, but it is 32-bit. Melda has a decent 64-bit reverb for $40ish:

Thanks in advance for any help. This transition is proving as painful as i feared.
