My son got Arturia Spark Dubstep for his birthday. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to open as a plugin in X2 Producer. If I knew the name of it's .dll file I could manually add it to the vst list Has anyone had this issue? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.

Three things you might want to check, firstly when you installed were there separate installs for 32 bit and 64 bit ?
You could always uninstall and run the installer again but paying particular attention to where it wants to install the 64 bit version so make sure it goes to, "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins".

Second thing, make sure to run sonars vst scanner if you haven't already and thirdly, have you created a vsti layout using the plug in manager ? If so you'll need to open the plug in manager and add it to that list.

Steve, Thank you for the input. I think the re-install is probably the way to go. I've scanned it a few times and it's not finding it because it doesn't exist in the vst folder. I really appreciate you weighing in.

Strange, it must have installed it somewhere, maybe it created a steinberg/vst folder ?
Anyway, I think a reinstall is probably your best option.
