1. Is it possible to use one dim pro for two or more midi tracks like the tts-1? 2. How to use synth rack? What its use? I never utilized it since i owned sonar.

Yes, DimPro has a multi-timbral mode. To activate it, click on the options button and check the "Set Programs as Multitimbral" In multi-timbral mode the elements are hardwired to MIDI channels 1-4. The synth rack provides a consolidated view of the synths used in your project. http://www.cakewalk.com/D...Req=SoftSynths.02.html

You can also use as many instances of DimPro as your computer can run.

As far as the synth rack, it was simply a container to hold your synths - easy to see the the list.  You can also (if you expand the rack) add assignable knobs to the rack's synths to control specific functions w/o bringing up the entire synth interface.

Cant use pan on the midi track with this set up.

The MIDI track Pan control actually transmits a CC10 message.  So, you can set up a slot in Dim Pro's MIDI Matrix:

Source: CC10
Destination: Pan 1 (2,3,4, or All)
Depth: 100.0
Smooth: 0.0 (or to taste)

There is pan on each element in DimPro.

There's the other method.  Right-click on the Element 1, 2, 3, and/or 4 knob, and select MIDI Learn.
Then move the MIDI track Pan control.

This second method is global, with visual feedback.  It will persist across all present & future instances of Dim Pro, until you 'MIDI Forget' it (or you decide to terminate the MIDI configuration file with extreme prejudice).
